Yes, seems a repeat offender. Thanks for the tip.--Ioshus Rocchio 13:00, 10 Maii 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article should be deleted. Please see also en:Zergeisterung, de:Zergeisterung, es:Zergeisterung, ja:Zergeisterung etc.

It is not translatable because whoever posted this all over Wikipedia made it up (not to mention the assertion that a word is impossible to translate across languages is a POV, which makes this a badly written article). Moreoever, this is an article that has been deleted in the German Wikipedia. I pity those well-meaning Wikipedians who already tried to translate that text without realizing that it is nonsense.

Do we really have to get into heavy POV arguments on such a topic? If you can show that the word is translatable, that's great. All you have to do is cite a source.
And if you think the article is badly written (which is a completely different issue) by all means rewrite it. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:00, 25 Maii 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good ... and a template, maybe in ... yellow? "This article is considered to be a joke. If you want to contribute, you should keep this in mind." --Roland2 21:57, 26 Maii 2006 (UTC)Reply
The deutsch one seems to be uneditable/locked? You don't think we should do the same?--Ioshus Rocchio 22:26, 26 Maii 2006 (UTC)Reply
As you said ... it's the deutsch way. I think we should start unlocked. As long as the template will not be removed, it should be ok. I hope we will learn interesting facts about "Zergeisterung". Maybe the term "Zergeisterung" is not translateable ... the content should. If it's such an important term, someone will write a Latin article. --Roland2 23:16, 26 Maii 2006 (UTC)Reply

keep + translation

I think we can keep this now ... it's clearly stated that there is much disputation about this term. We could even try to translate it: Dismentia? ;-) --Roland2 17:31, 1 Iunii 2006 (UTC)Reply

No longer a joke?

recensere

I have moved the page in its joke form to Harrissimo's hospitable new page Vicipaedia:Ioci. The aim of the present page is no longer to make you laugh but to tell the Zergeisterung story; hence I took the {{Iocus}} formula off. Does that make sense?
