Salve! I'm assuming you can read some English because that's what the page is written in, sed si non potes interpretari, me mones. I've been working on an element box to address some shortcomings I've noticed in the current standard.

  • Looking at pages like Hydrogenium and Nitrogenium, I noticed that the boxes weren't a single template, but many templates stacked on top of each other. That seems inefficient to me because finding all the templates you need might be hard as well as they can get into non-standard orders. I took as may of the templates used as I could find and put their code into my template here and listed the parameters on the doc page. It hides unused parameters, keeps all the info in one place, and keeps a standard order. I believe that having a list of parameters would be easier to fill in than remembering multiple templates; that would make it easier to add to more pages.
  • On the English wikipedia, my native language, their element box (the look of which mine is based) has a periodic table that has links to each element for their specific box on the periodic table. I find it handy. I translated that code and created a template out of that here.

I would love to hear your input and opinion on what you think of this project, there's currently a discussion here about this. I really want to improve the coverage of chemical elements and the more help, the better. Vale! Cbrick77 09:02, 7 Augusti 2011 (UTC)Reply
