Disputatio Formulae:Praefecturae Franciae
cette formule sera très utile pour passer rapidement d'un département à l'autre. Cependant, je pense qu'il serait plus judicieux de placer les département dans l'ordre alphabétique français. les utilisateurs français s'y retrouveraient beaucoup plus et les autres ne s'y perdraient pas d'avantage. Par exemple, le texte pourrait être le suivant:
01:Addua - 02:Axona - 03:Elaver - 04:Alpes Provinciae - 05:Alpes Superiores ...
Because french departements got some numbers and when we look for a departement (e.g. Oise), we look in the list, using the alphabetic order, but Oise is Esia in latin and if i don't know that, i can't find it. But if i see there is numbers behind the nouns, i'll look for 60 (Oise is the 60th departement). If you don't want so, you can place your nouns in the right alphabetic order in latin but give the numbers behind or after, e.g.:
Addua (01) · Aegirtius (32) · Alba (10) · Alduabis (25) ...

- I agree, and I think I can do even better, if I can make this work -- please wish me luck! -- I will make a flip-down list in numerical order as well as the alphabetical list. - Re: "Wallis et Futuna."—The indigenous name for Wallis Island is 'Uvea, and that's the name by which it's ordinarily known in American anthropological books. Linguists often call it East 'Uvea to distinguish it from West 'Uvea, founded maybe a dozen generations ago by emigrants from (East) 'Uvea. Likewise (East) Futuna and West Futuna. Just so you know! - The original Wallis—Samuel (1728–1795)—lived long enough ago, and as Commissioner of the Admiralty was prominent enough, that there could well be an attested Latin version of his name, perhaps Wallisius or whatever. He might have been mentioned in eighteenth-century Latin summaries of the proceedings of Parliament. ¶ As for the sign of the glottal stop, don't worry about leaving it out, as we already do that in Havaii (recte Hawai'i) and Kauai (recte Kaua'i).
