Temporary formula

I created this because cross-wiki timelords seem to expect it to exist. I know, I know, it needs to be translated into Latin. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:03, 20 Augusti 2008 (UTC)Reply

What is the intended difference between this and formula:Delenda? If it's the same, surely those nosey Gallifreyans woule be happy with a redirect? --Iustinus 20:53, 12 Decembris 2008 (UTC)Reply
Should we perhaps move this template to Formula:Cito delenda or Formula:Confestim delenda? I think that the intended difference is that this template is to be used for obvious cases only ("speedydelete") while {{delenda}} would invite for a discussion on whether to delete or not. --UV 23:30, 12 Decembris 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ah! Well originally {{delenda}} was written for speedydelete (my original text said "statim delendam"), but since there was so little of anything on vicipaedia, it immediately ended up being used for just delete (which is how the statim disappeared long before Neander rephrased it). I didn't even notice the distinction frankly (of course back then there was little need for it), which is why just today I was arguing at disputatio formulae:delenda that it was intended to invite a discussion! --Iustinus 00:36, 13 Decembris 2008 (UTC)Reply
I hadn't realised the history of Formula:Delenda. I am thinking that, as Iustinus suggests above, the two should be merged (i.e., "Delete" should become a redirect to "Delenda") -- because, as it turns out, this formula is actually being used in cases where discussion arises. The need for a real, not-worth-arguing-about "Confestim delere" formula does not seem to have arisen yet! Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 10:05, 13 Decembris 2008 (UTC)Reply
Revertere ad "Confestim delenda".
