Disputatio Formulae:Communia

I think {{commons}} is prettier, but this is tagged better for la. Anyone mind if I move {{commons}} to here?--Ioshus (disp) 02:20, 2 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)
- I think we should stay with the "old" design which has been taken from the German WP. It has some advantages:
- Does not look so bold, especially on short pages.
- Right aligned elements (like {{commons}}) generally raise formatting troubles.
- It does not interact with (right aligned) images or (right aligned) taxoboxes.
- It looks strange if there are several templates with this layout: Commons, Wikisource, Wikibooks, Wikicites, ...
- Adding such a template is a reason for adding a nexus externus section, which has also a positive affect on the layout of a page.
- At the moment we have two corresponding layouts for all other Wikipedia projects. For articles I would prefer the left aligned small images, for categories, however, I would prefer the bold layout. But maybe I am the wrong person to ask: I have proposed to left-align the stipula templates and remove the border, see Disputatio Formulae:Metastipula. All to avoid formatting troubles. --Rolandus 17:23, 20 Februarii 2007 (UTC)
- I talked with Ioshus ... to have two versions is ok for him: {{communia}} (small) and {{communia2}} (big). I'd suggest to use the big template for categories and for articles only where it does not destroy the layout and where there is at least one external link. --Rolandus 07:42, 25 Februarii 2007 (UTC)
