Pintia is a Vacceo-Roman archaeological site on the Duero river, but far away from modern day Valladolid. Valladolid comes from vallis tolitum a celto-roman name meaning valley of torrents or waters [1] and in the first written documents (relating to the foundation of the city in the XI century) it already appears as Valladolid. I think the page should be moved--Xaverius 15:28, 20 Aprilis 2007 (UTC)

Perfect! I was just refering to the etymology. I had seen also Vallisoletum, but that is probably later than Valdoletum--Xaverius 13:38, 14 Maii 2007 (UTC)
