That has a strange sound to it. Livy wasn't keeping track of time that way, was he, considering that he is generally considered to have died before 20 p.C.n.

Of course I realize that the assertion is not that Livy wrote it that way, but only that that is the *essence* of what Livy said, however he said it. Nonetheless it sounds strange.

But especially because "ante Christum natum" is specificied in full. Using the standard abbreviation would make it at least *somewhat* less strange. Toddcs (disputatio) 22:30, 7 Decembris 2023 (UTC)Reply
