Spira substantiuum est; spiralis est adiectiuum. Ita pagina haec spira debetur. Pantocrator 23:54, 12 Iulii 2011 (UTC)Reply

spira in latin means 'coil'; spiralis means 'spiral' both adjective and noun according to Newton's usage in his principia. What is your source? Also is that phrase " quae generatur puncto centrali oritur" suppose to be meaningful somehow? --208.49.44.196 01:41, 13 Iulii 2011 (UTC)Reply
I went by the name Spira Mirabilis (logarithmic spiral), etymological dictionaries (several), and the fact that spiralis is clearly an adjective formed from spira. As to the phrase, I suppose 'oritur' should change to 'oriente'. Pantocrator 23:03, 13 Iulii 2011 (UTC)Reply
Newton says spiralis logarithmica and spiralis in the nominative. Who is more authoritative?--208.49.44.196 01:34, 14 Iulii 2011 (UTC)Reply
Revertere ad "Spiralis".
