- No, it isn't the same as Octavius. And it isn't the same as Otho, either: according to de:wiki it comes from "Althochdeutsch ot „Besitz, Erbe“". So I guess it's correct to keep Otto unchanged. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 11:46, 21 Octobris 2009 (UTC)
