Lingua Suecica? Suedica? recensere

Both forms are in use throughout Vicipaedia. Should that inconsistency survive? If not, which form is better? In one page recently, Amphitrite changed Suedice to Suecice, and I therefore did the same when Suedice turned up on another page that came into view. Several dozen Suedice probably remain. What should be done with them? IacobusAmor 14:08, 5 Maii 2007 (UTC)Reply

Quite a lot of variants are in use throughout Medieval latinity (Suecica, Svecica, Suetica, Svetica, Suedica, Svedica, ...). Personally, I like lingua Svecica best. However, when and though using this variant I make reference to the entry lingua Suecica which does very well. I think it's impossible to say, which form is the correct one (except by fiat). --Neander 00:28, 11 Maii 2007 (UTC)Reply
