Lapis lunaris fuit Translatio Hebdomadalis.

Lunosus, -a, -um recensere

Can lunosus, -a, -um be right in this context? The suffix -osus implies 'full of, prone to' (A&G #245). The ordinary adjective indicating 'lunar' is lunaris, -e. Wouldn't lunosus be more like 'moonlike, moonish, shaped like the moon, tending to be active in moonlight,' etc., than 'lunar'? The "lunous" creatures I've found on the net seem to be moths.
