Disputatio:Hieronymus Flynn

Latest comment: abhinc 11 annos by Donatello

Hello folks. I've read in Behind the Name that the name "Jerome" comes from the Greek name ‘Ιερωνυμος (Hieronymos), and further down in the page are variants of the name in other languages, and there is mentioned Ieronimus for "late Roman". It means late Latin. How should his name be in Latin?

"Hieronymus" est forma Latina normalis; e.g. Hieronymus qui fuit ipse scriptor praeclarissimus linguae Latinae. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 09:52, 23 Martii 2013 (UTC)Reply
