This is about Gymnomycota, not Fuligo -- [anon]
- Yes, that seems to be true. I added a "Movenda" template. Since "Gymnomycota" seems to be a dubious classification anyway, maybe some others should comment before we actually move it. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 17:30, 5 Octobris 2008 (UTC)
- I agree with Andrew, de description is a translation from: en:Slime Mold and covers the whole group Gymnomycota; not a group within the classification, but a group of various and similair organismes. The article Fuligo (genus) should be an description of the molds of that explicit group: ((we can do better than this ofcourse : en:Fuligo)), Hendricus 11:14, 26 Ianuarii 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks, Hendrice. OK, then, I'll move it to Gymnomycota: whatever its classification status, that is evidently a convenient term for this group of organisms.
- For the present, Fuligo (genus) will remain as a redirect. Of course, it can be turned into an article about the genus whenever anyone cares to do so. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 12:47, 26 Ianuarii 2009 (UTC)
