G.K. Chesterton wrote an essay referencing this Shaw (in English) called 'Ego et Shavius Meus'. [1] And 'Shavian' is supposed to derive from William Morris's discovery of the phrase 'sic Shavius, sed inepte' in some older Latin work. [2] —Myces Tiberinus 18:39, 27 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)

Anonymous, the policy is to leave surnames as they are except when there's an attested Latin form. Chesterton and Morris may have been using Shavius jocularly, I suppose, but they incontrovertibly did use it.

Andrew, if you're still not convinced... well "Shavian" is a fully established form, right? And recall our disagreement over Octavius Mirbeau ;)
