Since mentioned on Facebook -- "in paginae [sic] folii inferiori [sic]" -- surely he intended 'on lower leaf surface' (≈ in pagina folii inferiori), which is the English he uses later, but he could charitably be read "on the lower [side] [in inferiori] of the surface of the leaf [paginae folii]" --Mucius Tever (disputatio) 14:08, 26 Februarii 2013 (UTC)
