Disputatio:Crocodylus
Latest comment: abhinc 15 annos by Andrew Dalby
In classical Latin th eanimal is Crocodilus. The animal should be covered under Crocodilus. Crocodylus should be about the biological genus if need be, otherwise it should be a redirect. --Iustinus 01:55, 4 Martii 2007 (UTC)
- I'm also not sure how this managed to get an l+1. Crocodylus sunt!? --Iustinus 17:02, 28 Februarii 2008 (UTC)
- I removed it. It won't really deserve an L of any kind till it gets beyond a stub. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 18:08, 28 Februarii 2008 (UTC)
- Commenting on the spelling issue: the animal known to the Romans is at Crocodylus niloticus. This page is about the genus, so I think it stands correctly at Crocodylus, the official zoological spelling. I will make Crocodilus a discretiva. I think that's the least complicated solution.
