Whether or not Optare is the right word I didn't know how to declineconjugate (?) it in this case. It is meant to be in the "be -ed" form. Can someone help me? Alexanderr 17:40, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

I meant "can be -ed" as in "can be selected". Alexanderr 18:43, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
Ok...radioboto... En says this is sometime called "radial button" so I suggest going with "boto radialis". Seligere a better word than optare. Passive mood = "be ed". I do not understand either the first or last sentence of this article.--Ioshus (disp) 19:05, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
The first sentence is supposed to say the radio button is a standard element of graphical user inferface software and last sentence [It is] Similar to the buttons of the musical apparatus the radio: one [button] is pressed, and therefore/thus/as a result the other pops up. Like the boom box buttons? ;-) Also pressed down would be a better. Alexanderr 19:21, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
"one [button] is pressed, and therefore/thus/as a result"—"Button" est fibula vel globulus. "Press down" est deprimo. Fortasse ergo: Uno globulo depresso, alter. . . ." IacobusAmor 19:45, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
Button can be "boto", Iacobe, and for sake of cognativity, I don't think it would be hideously egregious. Deprimere you're right is probably better than imprimere.--Ioshus (disp) 20:23, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
Is it boto, -nis then? I was just reporting what the dictionary says. Webster says English button comes from various forms, including old French boter 'to thrust', and it's related to English butt. IacobusAmor 20:46, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply
That's a nice little fact. Anyways what should I put after alter? Alexanderr 20:47, 4 Ianuarii 2007 (UTC)Reply

Says Whitaker:

boto                 N      3 1 NOM S M
boto                 N      3 1 VOC S M
boto, botonis N M [GXXEK] NeoLatin uncommon
button;
