Dardania's good, but the reason we probably wouldn't use it is that for an encyclopedia it's confusing to use ancient names of countries for modern countries that are not identical. People learning Latin are often taught to use such approximate names (the way that Byzantine Greeks used to do) but, in both cases, it doesn't really help their readers.
Hence we prefer names used by reliable modern Latin sources, and we often favour names that resemble the local official name. Luckily we found a source for Kosovia. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 19:32, 10 Iunii 2016 (UTC)
