- Not even that: I don't think there is such a word as *animala; it would have to be animalia. Macula means "spot, splotch, stain" (and hence metaphorically "sin"). So yeah, we should probably move this to animaculum baring any convincing counterarguments that show up. And I kinda doubt that will happen. --Iustinus 18:21, 7 Decembris 2005 (UTC)
