Imperialis?

Iacobe amice, remember your recent comment at Disputatio:Fora Imperialia ... I think you were right there, and my (limited) enquiries suggested that, even in medieval Latin, "Imperialis" referred only to the Holy Roman Empire, not to empires in general.
