David Lance Arneson, usitate dictus Dave Arneson (1 Octobris 1947[1][2]–7 Aprilis 2009), fuit ludorum artifex Americanus qui, notiones nunc consideratae principales (sicut explorationes carcerum) adhibens, multos ludos personarum populo acceptos excogitavit. Inclutissime, annis 1970 ineuntibus cum Geiserico Gygax, Dungeons & Dragons, primum huius generis ludum divulgatum, creavit.[3] Fuit alumnus Universitatis Minnesotensis.[4]
