Cyanistes
Cyanistes est genus avium familiae Paridarum. Quod genus olim subgenus generis Pari habebatur, sed anno 2005 studium moleculare phylogeneticum, quod sequentias DNA mitochondrialis inter species familiae Paridarum investigaverat, proposuit aliquot subgenera, Cyaniste non excluso, ad statum generis levari.[1] Quod propositum ab International Ornithologists' Union[2] et British Ornithologists' Union benigne acceptum est.[3]

Nomen Cyanistes pro subgenere ab Ioanne Iacobo Kaup, naturalista Germanico, anno 1829 propositum est.[4] Quod vocabulum a Graeco kuanos 'atrocaeruleus' deducitur.[5]
