Schistum Burgessensem in Columbia Britannica, sedimentum apothecarium, primus ipse anno 1909 invenit. Ab anno 1917 usque ad annum 1923 nonus Civitatum Foederatarum Academiae Nationalis Scientiarum praeses fuit.
