Ḥasan al-Kharrāṭ
Hasanus al-Kharrāṭ, vulgo plene ʾAbū Muḥammad Ḥasan al-Kharrāṭ (Arabice حسن الخراط; natus anno 1861,[1] mortuus die 25 Decembris 1925) fuit unus ex primis ducibus magnae rebellionis Syriacae adversus Mandatum Francicum factae. Praecipue Damasci et in Ghouta terris suburbanis operatus est. In certamine interfectus, heros a Syriis habetur.[2]

Memoria
Al-Kharrat, qabaday (dux puerorum) regionis Damascenae al-Shaghur, cum Nasib al-Bakri, nationalista maximae regionis familiae, coniunctus est. Ab al-Bakri mense Augusto 1925 in rebellionem vocatus, turmam pugnatorum al-Shaghur aliarumque regionum congregavit. Impetum contra Damascum duxit. Breviter domum Mauritii Sarrail, legatum (altum commissarium) Francicum, cepit, sed inter bombas Francicas recessit.
Anno 1925 exeunte, invidia aucta est inter al-Kharrat et alios rebellionis duces, praecipue Sa'id al-'As et Ramadan al-Shallash, cum inter se de pagorum diripiendorum vel pecuniae ex paganis extorquendis accusarent. Al-Kharrat operari in Ghouta perseveravit, ubi tandem in insidiis Francicis interfectus est. Rebellio anno 1927 dissipata est, sed al-Kharrat, pro libertate Syrica mortem occumbens, famam durabilem cepit.
