Michaël Baius (vulgo Michel De Bay; natus anno 1513 in oppido Meliniensi prope Athum; mortuus Lovanii anno 1589) fuit theologus, professor et rector Studii Generalis Lovaniensis.

Condidit scholam theologicam et doctrinam cui nomen baianismus inditum est; haec doctrina inspiravit postea Iansenismum.

Erat patruus theologi Iacobi Baii qui fuit etiam rector Lovaniensis.
