→‎Wikiproject on lingua Latina: don't let roland fool you...
Linea 7:
:Thank you for your prompt reply! I don't believe that you could know less Latin than me, and besides the project needs as many people as it can get. I noticed that there seem to be a group of about 5 users who seem to have done about 90% of everything I've found. Dbmag9 17:51, 26 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)
::If you stay long enough, you'll see that it's about 5-10 people who do almost everything on here. But don't let Roland fool you, his latin is fine, but his modesty is even better. I'm big on the lingua latina project, but it will take a lot of organization and consensus about where and how to proceed. The cases pages need rewrites, mea sententia, and the declension pages need consistent naming, right now we have declinatio prima, secunda, tertia, and then U declinatio and I think E declinatio for 4th and 5th. We should establish a hierarchy of importance and go from there. Ehjort and I attempted to do this in the taberna, but I don't think much went from there, unfortunately. I've been busy with some music theory articles, and other non vici related projects, but I agree that it needs attention.--Ioshus Rocchio 19:10, 26 Aprilis 2006 (UTC)
:::Very true. Is there an accepted translation of Wikiproject? Vicicollaboratio, or Collaboratio Vici seems appropriate, but I don't know if there is a prearranged way of translating wiki- words. I'd be happy to write articles about grammar in broken Latin (I'll try my best :) ). I think it needs a project page for any real coordination. What do you think of the name?
