We went with ''Iosephus'' because that was the form used in the official [http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/elezione/index_en.htm habemus Papam] declaration. Given that that is about as official (or at least prestigious) a source as it gets, and that declinable forms tend to make our lives easier, I would recommend we go with that unless you have some pretty overwhelming evidence.
