Gotofredus
Is there a reason you've been changing Mr. Gotofredus's name from Ioannes to Iohannes? DO you have a source on it, or is it just because he's German? I confess that when I wrote those pages I had to guess how he spelled his name, because he's just given as "Jo." on the title page. --Iustinus 01:20, 16 Martii 2007 (UTC)

:OK, good. The inconsistancy would be my fault, for the reasons given above, and so going with the more german form is as good a principle as any. Sorry I was nervous. I just get tired of people changing already researched historical names for specious reasons, and Ioannes/Iohannes is another such thing that comes up again and again. But obviously that wasn't the case here. --Iustinus 16:44, 16 Martii 2007 (UTC)
:Sorry, I didn't mean to do anything wrong. There where links in Vicipaedia to both Ioannes and Iohannes (vide Usor:Iustinus/Scribenda Titulos Iaponicos) and since there is no article at all, I thought I could start one (which I haven't yet :S)... and I thought Iohannes would fit, because he was German. What do you think? Greetings --Alexis Hellmer 07:14, 16 Martii 2007 (UTC)
