::Beste Abel/Artaynte, vergeef me dat ik je nu in onze eigen barbaarse taal schrijf, maar ik ben niet zo bedreven met Latijn als jij. Zoals je zelf al hebt gezien, kan Vicipaedia veel hebben aan de hulp van een begaafde latinist, waarvan er nu nog veel te weinig zijn. Toch is dit een gezamenlijk project, waarbij de deelnemers elkaar, ongeacht de beheersing van het Latijn, met hoffelijkheid behandelen, en zich - soms met tegenzin - schikken in meerderheidsbesluiten, waarbij overigens de argumenten van erkende experts en gewaardeerde deelnemers een behoorlijk gewicht in de schaal kunnen leggen. Je zult merken dat, als je je vriendelijk en opbouwend opstelt, jij zelf ook aan gezag zult winnen en anderen gemakkelijker zult kunnen overtuigen. Laat je ook niet ontmoedigen door het feit dat het soms erg lang kan duren voordat een opmerking van jou wordt opgepikt. Velen van ons zijn druk bezet en hebben niet altijd de tijd om meteen overal op te reageren, en ook ontgaat ons wel eens wat. Als je een specifiek probleem onder de aandacht wilt brengen kun je een berichtje in de [[Vicipaedia:Taberna|Taberna]] plaatsen of op iemands persoonlijke discussiepagina. Ondertussen, terwijl je wacht op een antwoord, hoef je niet te vervelen: er zijn duizenden artikelen die op verbetering wachten!
