Passacaglia et Fuga in C molli, BWV 582

Passacaglia et fuga in c molli (BWV 582) est compositio musica in duobus motibus pro organo ab Ioanne Sebastiano Bachio inter annos 1706 et 1713 conscripta. Primus motus variationes viginti continet. Thema motus primi a Christe: Trio en passacaille, opere Andreae Raison, fortasse ortum est. Fuga triplex secundi motus sine pausa primum motum sequitur. Hoc opus Bachianum antecessoribus fuit maius et difficilius; valde a Roberto Schumann laudatum est.[1] Inter compositores qui operis transcriptiones pro orchestra clavilique scripserunt sunt Leopoldus Stokowski, Maximilianus Reger, Christianus Zimerman, Eugenius Ormandy.
