Michael Dummett Eques, Socius Academiae Britannicae (natus Michael Anthony Eardley Dummett Londinii 27 Iunii 1925; mortuus Oxoniae 27 Decembris 2011), fuit philosophus Anglicus, "inter philosophos Britannicos maximi momenti saeculi proximi et princeps patientiae racialis aequalitatisque suasor"[1] descriptus.[2]

Alumnus fuit Aedium Christi Universitatis Oxoniensis,[3] ubi usque ad 1992 professor Wykehamianus logicae docuit. De historia philosophiae analyticae scripsit, insignissime interpres operum Gottlob Frege, commentariosque ingeniosos rei fecit, praecipue in philosophiis mathematicae, logicae, et linguae, atque in metaphysica. Innotuit opere de veritate et significatione et earum implicationibus in disceptationibus inter realismum et antirealismum, vocabulum quidem quod ipse eruditis gratissimum fecit.
