Lithophaga (a Graeco λίθος 'saxum' et φαγεῖν 'edere', tamquam 'saxorum esor, saxivora') est genus marinorum mediae magnitudinis molluscorum bivalvium familiae Mytilidarum.

Testae specierum huius generis circiter 3–7 cm longae, angustae sunt, lateribus paene parallelis, colore fusco. Animalia saxum vel scopulum curalii perforare solent, secretionibus glandis pallialis adiuventibus,[1] ergo nomen systematicum, Lithophaga. Foramina ab eis effecta, quia sunt claviformia, ichnofossile ferunt nomen gastrochaenolites.
