Object history
Deutsch: 1796 erhielt ihn Herzog Albert von Sachsen-Teschen durch einen Tausch von Kunstwerken mit Kaiser Franz II. Das Bild gilt aufgrund seiner außergewöhnlich realistischen Darstellung als eines der bedeutendsten Kunstwerke der Sammlung. Die Provenienz der Zeichnung lässt sich lückenlos bis in Dürers Werkstatt zurückverfolgen
