Salve, Amsal!

Ave! Spero te "Vicipaedianum" aut "Vicipaedianam" fieri velle!

Thanks recensere

Your new pages are really useful. The more we see of your work, the more likely we are to agree with your views on the best choice of name etc. Nothing on Vicipaedia is immutable! I hope you'll go on working here ... Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:36, 19 Iulii 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I am having fun and trying not to forget the basics of Latin I learned in high school. What's even better, I've learned a lot from other editors. I think I'll stick around ;) Amsal 11:38, 24 Iulii 2010 (UTC)Reply

I moved him back to "Kennethus". You may be right that "Kinadius" is a better form -- it's hard to know -- but "Kennethus" is also found, even for Scottish kings. I suggest, if you are convinced "Kinadius" is the best choice, that we discuss it on the Taberna and move all our Kenneths at once: otherwise it's too confusing. By all means begin the discussion. That move was a bit hasty: I was still writing the page. I had to undo your move to rescue my work, but I'm not saying you're wrong. What's your reason? Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:43, 5 Decembris 2012 (UTC)Reply

Ah, I see now. Ioanna (regina Castellae et Legionis) was also a queen of Sicily. But my girl was actually called in Latin on her tomb "Johanna regina Sicilie": was yours? Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:57, 5 Decembris 2012 (UTC)Reply
