Thrithing -ngum recensere

Is there a source for Thrithing(um) treated as Latin? It's really an Anglo-Saxon word.

Nice to have an article and a Latin name for Sheffield, though! Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:02, 12 Iunii 2016 (UTC)Reply

Trithingum is in the DMLBS, my new favorite source. Can't find a source for "West Riding," but do you think "Trithingum Occidentalis" is an acceptable synthesis? Lesgles (disputatio) 20:17, 12 Iunii 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I should have thought of that. I see, looking through the entry, that there are almost as many spellings as citations. "Trithingum", which those editors selected, seems a good choice to me. Yes, given this evidence, I think "Trithingum Occidentale" should be fine! Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 20:40, 12 Iunii 2016 (UTC)Reply
Revertere ad "Sefelda".
