I wonder if poetica is an over-literal interpretation of the Greek word to mean fictiva. In any case, articles don't have to be deleted just because they describe fictinal places and characters, they simply need to be written from the point of view of the Real World, not the one described in the books. --Iustinus 20:49, 9 Februarii 2007 (UTC)

Let's see, HP Et Philosophi Lapis p. 41 "SCHOLA HOGVARTENSIS ARTIUM MAGICARUM ET FASCINATIONIS"... elsewhere there are several occurences of "Schola Hogvartensis", but I haven't thus far found any Hogvarts... but that doesn't preclude it, because honestly one of my main complaints about this Latin translation is ther very poor naming. You know how much I like onomastics, and technical terminology, and it seems to me that in the universe of HP there should already be Latin names for all these things, most likely done in the style of Renaissance Latin. Instead almost everything is treated as foreign, and keeps its vernacular form in the nominative. --Iustinus 01:20, 10 Februarii 2007 (UTC)

I'm afraid an editor's default stance here, as with all these potteresque peculiarities, has to be that contributors aren't working from the Latin version, but are combining beginner's Latin with their memory of the story in their native language. IacobusAmor 15:46, 10 Februarii 2007 (UTC)

House names
