The title seems very odd to me, since pollutio appears to be a moral rather than a medical term and the text of the article seems to have nothing to do with medicine. But I don't have a proposal. The word and its orgasmic implication appear in a medieval hymn, perhaps one suitable for compline (sung when monks are about to go to bed); it may be in the Episcopal hymnal of 1940 as translated perhaps by J.
