Disputatio:Illicium verum

Latest comment: abhinc 5 annos by Andrew Dalby

The expression I'm used to seeing is anisum stellatum. I don't have time at the moment to do real research on this, but a preliminary google search does turn up a lot of homoeopathy websites (so it is at least attested.) --Iustinus (disputatio) 23:23, 24 Februarii 2019 (UTC)Reply

But do add the term, and cite it from one source at least. It corresponds to the name in modern European languages. I'll add a redirect now.
Clusius (whom I already cite) calls it "Anisum Philippinarum insularum". How he learned of it, and from whom, is on record and I should add a couple of sentences on that. That was the first star anise to reach Europe. Andrew Dalby (disputatio) 08:41, 25 Februarii 2019 (UTC)Reply
