Is quae curat ipsam de chemicis non organicis trying to say 'which concerns itself with inorganic chemicals' ? If so, that doesn't sound idiomatic, or even grammatical. There must be several solutions, but one my dictionary offers is versor with circa, so : quae circa chemicas non organicas versitur. (An alternative that comes to mind is ago with accusative, but maybe that works only with personal subjects.) If the original is trying to say something else, ignore this !
