Curtis Alexander Price, Eques (natus anno 1945 Springfield in urbe Missuriae[1]), est musicologus Britannicus.
Indigena Illinoesiae in Civitatibus Foederatis Americae, Price litteris studuit in Universitate Illinoesiae Meridionalis apud Carbondale (B.A.) et Universitate Harvardiana sub Ioanne Milton Ward (A.M., Ph.D., 1974). Annis 1974 ad 1979 in Universitate Vasintonia Sancti Ludovici docuit. In Britanniarum Regnum anno 1981 immigravit ut ibi Socius Guggenheim duos annos studeret et tunc in Collegio Regis Londinii doceret, in qua urbe ab 1995 ad 2008 fuit principalis Regiae Musicae Academiae et professor musicae in Universitate Londiniensi.
Price est administrator Musicae Britannicae, Musei Domus Handel, et Civici Archivi Soni, et est unus ex gubernatoribus Scholae Purcell. Cum in Collegio Regis Londinii esset principalis, academia facta est integra Universitatis Londinii pars, adiuvantes cum Schola Juilliard Novi Eboraci et aliis musicae scholis in gentibus externis coniunctiones evolvit, nonnulla archiva gravissima (in eorum numero Archivum Foyle Menuhin) adquisivit, et anno 2005 violinam "Viotti ex-Bruce" a Stradivario factum adepta est.
Anno 1985, Regia Musicae Sodalitas (Anglice: Royal Music Association) Clipeum Dent ei concessit. Anno 2005, Elizabeth II Regina eum creavit Equitem Praefectum Imperii Britannici (Anglice: KBE) honoris causa pro officia musica; dignitas equestris facta est substantiva in regio Indice Novi Anni 2006. A mense Octobri 2009, munus custodis Novi Collegii Oxoniae sustinere coepit, a quo munere se Augusto 2016 exeunte removit.[2]
