Ephemerides Alexandri Magni fuerunt liber, hodie deperditus, de rebus in aula Alexandri Macedonis gestis. De convivio novissimo et de ultimis diebus Alexandri citantur haec Ephemerides ab Arriano et Plutarcho (textibus satis differentibus), de periodo anteriore ab Aeliano. De origine Ephemeridum eruditi disputant. In fontibus antiquis ab Eumene et Diodoto Erythraeo conscriptas fuisse adseverantur; Strattis Olynthius commentarium de ephemeridibus composuisse dicitur.[1]

Alexandri Magni imago ab eruditis Pyrgoteli, regis ipsius sculptori, adscripta, et fortasse circa annum 325 facta
