marcius ?

Overnight, someone has changed "Saepe ad genus grave metallum pertinent" to "Saepe ad genus marcius pertinent." What's this marcius ? It isn't in my dictionary, and the only Latin attestation my dictionary offers for it is as the Roman name Marcius, relating to the word for 'hammer'. Is the reason for the change that the meaning of marcius is clearer ? or that grave metallum was wrong ? IacobusAmor 13:42, 10 Martii 2007 (UTC)
