- Well, I didn't know. Maybe the candidate or her supporters have made this claim (people will believe anything, as in the case last year in which a man shot up a pizza parlor because he believed Hillary Clinton was running a pedophile ring out of its [nonexistent] basement), so all that needed to be done was to say they asseruerunt and then go into oratio obliqua.
