Terminology

I'm not sure some of this stuff is attested in Latin at all. I've written eigenvalor or valor proprius; eigenvector and vector proprius; determinans (that seems pretty obvious); forma per gradus for "row-echelon form" (because scala really seemed far too confusing in this context). I have already used idemfactor for "identity" in other math pages, and this might be in Gauss somewhere or I might have invented it. I'll keep my eyes open for Latin writings about linear algebra, and if anyone else comes up with better terminology, don't hesitate to correct! A. Mahoney (disputatio) 20:06, 31 Decembris 2012 (UTC)
