Barbarismus[1] (Graece βαρβαρισμός [2]) est error in usu linguae, ut facere solent peregrini qui eam linguam imperfecte cognoverunt. In lingua Graeca antiqua peregrini linguae Graecae ignorantes βάρβαροι (barbari, scilicet 'homines qui βαρ, βαρ! dicunt') nuncupati sunt.
