Se cum schola modernismi poesis consociatus est. Praemia Pulitzerana pro suis operibus ter accepit. Periodicum American Libraries MacLeish appellavit "unum ex centum personis maximi momenti in re bibliothecaria per saeculum vicensimum in Civitatibus Foederatis."[1][2]
